Chris got home late last night around midnight from his trip so I didn't even get to really talk to him about his trip and congratulate him. I was trying to stay awake so I could talk to him, but once I started feeling myself start to doze and realized I wasn't going to make it, I had to settle for writing him a little note. He woke me up for a brief moment when he got home and told me he was going to shower and then would be coming to bed, but again I fell asleep before he ever made it out. So, when we got home from work today, we went out to dinner to celebrate.
We went to Golden Corral - his choice (he loves that place). We just talked about his trip, how the interview went, and how we are so excited for this
opportunity. Then we came home and had some cherry cheesecakes I had made to help celebrate. When we got home, we started looking at some of the information Chris was given about Texarkana and where we would possibly be living. We are planning on going on a cruise this summer before we leave so we browsed the internet for some information on where we would possibly like to go (still undecided). I am so glad to have him back home, it was a lonely couple of days without him!
