Half Marathon at Disney World

Chris and I participated in the Disney Half Marathon this year - 13.1 miles. It was so much fun. I have already registered for the Disneyland half marathon in September and can't wait. I had friends from Cali come down who also ran with us and my parents also came to support us. The one thing Chris didn't like about this run is the fact that it was the "Princess Half Marathon". But he was such a great sport to run with me. There were over 17,000 people who ran and of those were only 600 something guys, so they were definitely a minority. We had to be there bright and early at 5:00 AM and Chris said the giggly girls were a little much for that early in the morning, as I am sure you can see in one of the pictures how thrilled he was. :)

Super Bowl Party At Our House

We love having Super Bowl parties and this year was no different. We had 28 people over including us. We had shredded pork sliders, little smokies, meatballs, queso, chips and dip, vegetables, fruit, cupcakes, cookies, cake - you name it we had it. We had such a wonderful time! We are so blessed to have made such wonderful friends here!!

Christmas and New Years

This year we decided to stay home since we were not sure if we would be moving again during Christmas time and because we knew for sure we did not want to spend Christmas in cold, snowy Utah. We have some very good friends who had us over for Christmas dinner and we had such a great time - 3 families who do not have family in town! We had a New Years Party at some of our friends and had a great time!

Thanksgiving 2010 and Chris's Family Visit

Chris's mom and stepdad came to visit us this year for Thanksgiving. We went to Disneys Epcot and Animal Kingdom as well as Universal Studios. This was my first Thanksgiving dinner I cooked and I think it turned out really well; loved being able to entertain at our house for the first time for a big holiday celebration!
