Tampa Port
This weekend Chris and I decided to walk down to the Tampa Port where the cruise ships come in and out of. It was 70 degrees this weekend and perfect to be outside. We live just about a 5 to 10 minute walk away and had been dying to walk down there so first weekend the rain left us alone, we were so there! I cannot believe how big these cruise ships are...one of these days we will be on one we hope!

Winter Jam 2010 Concert
Well, Chris and I went to our first concert ever, I know crazy. It was right here in downtown Tampa about 5 mins from where we live. We rode the trolley there and had such a fun time. It was bright and sunny when we left, but when we left the concert it was pouring. The trolley's only come about every 20 minutes and we had just barely missed it and decided to walk home since it's not too far and even though it was raining it was still like 80 degrees at 10:00 at night! Gotta love it! By the time we got back, we were soaking wet, but the walk in the rain in January was just too fun!

The picture of us when we got back is horrible - makeup all ran off, but still had to post one pic of us, it's the only one we took of us that night! My pants were soaked up to my shins and if you look real close you can see the color variation in our jeans!

Tampa
We are now in Tampa, FL and I have been horrible at blogging. Things were a little crazy the past couple of months, but I will try to do better. If you have a facebook, you can catch me on there a little more often. :)

Our Trip to DC
Earlier this month, we had a chance to go to DC. Chris went there on business for work and I got to tag along. We had so much fun. We were able to meet up with a couple of our friends that were in the same program as Chris in Texas who ended up moving to Virginia (right outside of DC). It was great being able to catch up with them and they were pros at all the site seeing so that was great. Taught us how to use the metro - more confusing than you know.
Getting started on our trip to DC...yes we drove, it was a fun roadtrip though, only about 10 hours with stops and all the crazy traffic.

Some crazy, big pumpkins we saw while driving through Pennsylvania. One took up the bed of the truck and then two others took up a trailor.

Our first metro ride with our friends Kent and Jena.

All the neat things we got to see

Dinner with our friends Kent and Jena at Glory Days Grill

Yum, the cheesecake factory - dessert with our friends Kent, Jena, and Jessica

On our trip here, we were able to pick up a few more keychains to add to the places we have been...Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, and DC - we now have 19 different states (including DC even though that isn't a state).
